چکیده

We investigate L → L∞ dispersive estimates for the three dimensional Dirac equation with a potential. We also classify the structure of obstructions at the thresholds of the essential spectrum as being composed of a two dimensional space of resonances and finitely many eigenfunctions. We show that, as in the case of the Schrödinger evolution, the presence of a threshold obstruction generically leads to a loss of the natural t− 3 2 decay rate. In this case we show that the solution operator is composed of a finite rank operator that decays at the rate t− 1 2 plus a term that decays at the rate t− 3 2 .

Limiting absorption principle for some long range perturbations of Dirac systems at threshold energies

We establish a limiting absorption principle for some long range perturbations of the Dirac systems at threshold energies. We cover multi-center interactions with small coupling constants. The analysis is reduced to study a family of non-self-adjoint operators. The technique is based on a positive commutator theory for non self-adjoint operators, which we develop in appendix. We also discuss so...

The Dirac Equation in Two Dimensions: Dispersive Estimates and Classification of Threshold Obstructions

We investigate dispersive estimates for the two dimensional Dirac equation with a potential. In particular, we show that the Dirac evolution satisfies a t−1 decay rate as an operator from the Hardy space H to BMO, the space of functions of bounded mean oscillation. This estimate, along with the L conservation law allows one to deduce a family of Strichartz estimates. We classify the structure o...

Dispersive Estimates for Schrödinger Operators in Dimension Two with Obstructions at Zero Energy

We investigate L1(R2) → L∞(R2) dispersive estimates for the Schrödinger operator H = −∆+V when there are obstructions, resonances or an eigenvalue, at zero energy. In particular, we show that the existence of an s-wave resonance at zero energy does not destroy the t−1 decay rate. We also show that if there is a p-wave resonance or an eigenvalue at zero energy then there is a time dependent oper...

Wave Operator Bounds for 1-dimensional Schrödinger Operators with Singular Potentials and Applications

Boundedness of wave operators for Schrödinger operators in one space dimension for a class of singular potentials, admitting finitely many Dirac delta distributions, is proved. Applications are presented to, for example, dispersive estimates and commutator bounds.

Eigenfunctions at the Threshold Energies of Magnetic Dirac Operators with Positive Mass

We propose a framework for supersymmetric Dirac operators to have threshold energies. We apply the obtained results to magnetic Dirac operators with positive mass in order to investigate the asymptotic behaviors at infinity of the threshold eigenfunctions. It turns out that the results of most of the existing works on the zero modes of the Weyl-Dirac operators remain to hold for the threshold e...
